The project uses a structured 2-day participative planning conference, the Search Conference, to engage village residents including tribal staff and management, Tribal Council members, service providers, consumers, youth, elders and others as equal partners to discuss substance abuse and related problems and develop broad-based community actions and strategies to address the issues. |
